In addition to our Support Services, Community SOS at the Narara
Community Centre and/or our new location at the Yaringaa building,
John Hoare Close, Woy Woy (where indicated), hosts
many activities, some are listed below.

New Direction Quilters
Quilting and sewing classes every 2nd and 4th Wednesday from
10am to 4pm - drop in and meet the tutor at Narara Community Centre.
Workshops are held during the year. Or at Woy Woy, first and last
Saturdays of each month from 10am - 4pm.

Supported Playgroup
Run by Coastwide Child and Family Services for children 0 - 6 years old.
Open to families with children under 6 years who may need additional
support. Meets every Tuesday from 9.30am to 11.00 am. Ph: 4340 1111

BW Dance
Royal Academy of Dance registered teacher. Classical Ballet,
Jazz Contemporary, Tap Modern, Expressive/Lyrical, Hip Hop.
Classes on Saturdays starting from 8.15am through to 12.15pm

Gosford Community Church
We are a community church who enjoys an informal time of
friendships as we read and discuss the Bible together.
Sunday 9.30am - 12.30pm.

Australasian Native Orchid Society
Central Coast Group Inc. promotes the conservation of Australian native
orchids through cultivation and preservation of their natural habitats.
Monthly meetings 2nd Wednesday of the month 7.30pm - 9.30pm.

Brisbane Waters Outdoor Club
Activities include abseiling and canyoning, cycling and mountain biking, kayaking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing and walking. Social activities such as dinners and movies are also popular. Meets 1st Wednesday of the month at 7.00pm.

Probus Club
Active retiree enjoy the fellowship of like minded people. Meeting for club business, coffee break, followed by a guest speaker and/or discussion on a topic of mutual interest. Meeting 2nd Thursday of the month 9.00 am to 12 noon.

Join our foundational strength training class designed just for women!

STRENGTH TRAINING FOR OLDER WOMEN offers an aerobic warmup followed by a mix of hand weights, resistance bands, and body weight exercises. My goal is to boost your strength and confidence in a supportive environment, with an emphasis on proper, safe technique.

Strength training goes beyond building muscle, it can:

• Enhance your overall health

• Boost your metabolism
​
• Increase bone density
​
• Improve posture
​
• Elevate your mood
​
Plus, it’s an excellent way to build confidence and challenge your body with new movements, paving the way
for lifelong strength.
